DJ Ruan was born on the 16th November 1988 in Pretoria, South Africa. He has always had a passion for music, from electronic music, to rock, and even classical music. He was introduced to electronic music when he was 13 years old, and from there his love for trance and electro grew stronger. A while after, he started to collect trance and electro songs, and today Ruan has an incredible collection of songs. Not only is DJ Ruan one of South Africa's newest and highest ranked DJs, but he is also a very talented. His taste for music, and song selection is astonishing. In June 2008 Ruan broke into the top 15 DJs in South Africa and he is still going strong. While he was in Atlanta, USA, DJ Ruan met Tanario and Jose Guererro, who are two very well-known DJs in Atlanta. Together, they have been working as a team and performing together. Having been in the internet radio business for awhile now, DJ Ruan was approached by Madsounds, who is the owner and founder of worldofdjs internet radio. Madsounds then asked Ruan to DJ live on worldofdjs internet radio, and can now be found performing live for all of you who love and appreciate music. DJ Ruan does his weekly show on worldofdjs on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-11pm EST. His show is called Trance Republic. DJ Ruan decided to do a weekly podcast and upload it onto iTunes and myspace. His podcast is called Trance Republic and it brings you the weekly highlights from his radio show. He is planning on releasing his debut album in 2009, which will be called Trance Republic. DJ Ruan hopes to get signed by a label in the near future, this would allow him the opportunity to release more albums, and also to start a world tour. He is a very passionate and talented DJ and he believes that one can achieve everything through hard work and never giving up.
